The Schuylerville Colts football program has developed into one of the premier programs in the Northeast Youth Football League (NYFL) due to the dedicated volunteer coaches and parents that have contirbuted their time and effort over the years. Preparations have already begun for what promises to be an exciting and rewarding season for all involved.
During the season, one parent/guardian for each player will be asked to participate in one of the many roles required to run a successful football/cheer program. These roles include Farm Frenzy volunteers, game day set-up and fundraising opportunities, among others.
As with any youth sport, our cheer program involves teaching more than the fundamental skills. Our goal is to teach the rules of competition, teamwork, responsibility, safety and fitness to all participants.
During the registration process each coach, parent/guardian and participant will be asked to consent to and act in accordance with the OSAA Athletic Code of Conduct. A copy may also be found on www.osaacolts.org .
We will only accept credit or debit card payments for online registrations. If you must pay by check or money order, you must register in person.
- Registration- Open from May 25th to July 21st. Late fee of $15 applies if registered after July 13th. No registration accepted after July 21st as this is the cutoff for uniform orders.
- Registration Fee- $30 for Flag (Grades K-2) and $60 for Jr/Sr (Grades 3-6)
- Season- Coincides with Flag/Tackle football. Season goes from July 30th to Mid October. First games are the 1st week of September
- Uniform Fit up- Date TBD. Uniform kits are on order. Full uniforms will only be required for the Jr/Sr cheerleaders. A modified uniform will be used for Flag cheerleaders this year.
